Sailent features of Pollution Control Board


1. CFE is valid for 5 years (KSPCB)
2. The industry shall use only Low Nox Burners
3. Online stack analyzers shall be installed along with online VOC Analyzers
4. Portholes shall be provided for all chimneys, stacks and other sources of emission. These shall serve as sampling points. The diameter of the sampling port should not be less than 3".The parthole shall be closed firmly when not used for sampling. An easily accessible platform to accomodate 3 to 4 persons to conveniently monitor the stack emission from the portholes shall be provided
5. Form -XIII : Application for consent for establishment or taling any step for establishment of industries, operation, or any process or any treatment disposal system or discharge, continuation of discharge under section 25/26 of the water (prevention & control of pollution) Act, 1974
6. Form -I : Application for consent for discharge of emission/continuation of discharge of emission under sectio0n 21 of the air(prevention and control of pollution) Act, 1981

A report from Wildlife Department marine Impact assessment and risk assessment along with the Disaster Management Plan shall be prepared
Ambient air quality along with SO2 Nox and other parameters shall put up in a dedicated website to the public
Emission levels of pollutants shall be within permissive levels
33% of the area shall be dedicated green belt development (Local Forest Department)
The traffic in the city shall not get affected
Water supply to the nearby places shall not get affected
Detailed monitoring program  shall be designed and information shall be provided to the public in a dedicated website by online monitoring
Low sulfur internal fuel and fuel gas shall be fired in process heaters and boilers
Quarterly monitoring of fugitive emissions shall be carried out by Fugitive Emission Detectors
